Charles Greeley Abbot

Charles Greeley Abbot, who lived from 1872 till 1963, was an American astronomer who studied & specialized in solar radiation and its effects on the Climate of the Earth. From 1907 he was the director of the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory.
